Story of a Boy... (Sing to "Story of a Girl")

Due to Zach's finding my first stanza impressive, I went and finished the rest off...it's a parody, rip off, call it what you will, of Nine Days' Story of a Girl. If you couldn't already tell by the title. It uh...has nothing to do with me at all...

This is the story of a boy
who tried a whole lot
but never got it right
And though he looks
quite glad in photographs
he's really melancholy
when he smiles...

How many days will he peer?
He didn't speak up
didn't say out of fear
And he could be so cavalier
he knew he was smooth but never to her
As long as he stands there staring
holding his face in the case of her gaze

How many days grasping near?
When you write all these lines
so how do you praise
Your words always stray as much the next day
And your fate never falls in quite the same way
But you cannot seem to find a voice to say!

This is the story of a boy
who tried a whole lot
but never got it right
And though he looks
quite glad in photographs
he's really melancholy
when he smiles...

How many times would she stay?
Maybe just to wait for him day after day
How did they wind up this way?
Watching their eyes for the words they won't say.
As long as they stand here waiting,
Swept in the flows of the tide of their woes
How will they fret there today?
When they cover their eyes for the sake of who knows
And your words always stray as much the next day
And your fate never falls in quite the same way
But you cannot seem to find a voice to say!

This is the story of a boy
who tried a whole lot
but never got it right
And though he looks
quite glad in photographs
he's really melancholy
when he smiles...

And your words always stray as much the next day
And your fate never falls in quite the same way
But you cannot seem to find a voice to say!

This is the story of a boy
who tried a whole lot
but never got it right
And though he looks
quite glad in photographs
he's really melancholy

This is the story of a boy
His feelings he kept away out of sight!
And though he looks
quite glad and cheerful there
he's really melancholy
when he smiles...

This is the story of a - boy!
who tried a whole lot
but never got it right
And though he looks
quite glad in photographs
he's really melancholy
when he smiles...

When he smiles.
